Hello,
I am a very experienced diver looking for work on a gold dredge in Alaska. I have been working for close to 5 years as a golfball diver in California where the water is very cold for most of the year. Prior to golfball diving, I was a finance manager for a large automobile dealership where I was responsible for tens of thousands of dollars in cash on a daily basis. I am trustworthy. I am not a drunk or drug addict. I am the hardest working person I know and can provide unlimited references to back up my claim. I've spent countless hours on a hookah and really want to do something more exciting than collecting golfballs. I enjoy working long hard days and grueling challenges. I take orders well as I am prior U.S. Air Force and I understand the chain of command.
I captained my team to a first place win at the Pacific Coast Championships in 2011 for freedive spearfishing which took place during a stormy day with 1 foot of visability. I have swam with large sharks many times. I am not worried about sea critters. I'm a fit 41 year old man who can outrun most 20 year olds.
I founded the Monterey Bay Tritons dive club, which is now one of the biggest in the world. Monterey Bay Tritons

HIRE ME!

Travis Jones

Hello I'm from PA and I;ll be in SC.for one week and wanted to see if anyone would be interetsed in getting togeather and go prospecting for gold. I'll be visiting my daughter and she said to bring my pans along so we can go try it out. She and my son bought me a basic Garrett panning kit for X-mas. SO you can guess that we are new at this and would like to make some memories with each other. Any help and knowlege would be greatly appreciated and if you could guide us and spend a day with us it would realy help. My daughter is stationed at Shaw A.F.B. and I'll be there on 2/17/13 and I leave on 2/23/13. I know this is short notice so I hope someone can help us out. Thanks for your time and God bless.

Hey there, just a little north of Shaw AFB are some of the richest gold deposits in the south east. I am in Spartanburg (like 2 1/2 hours from Shaw) I don't know exactly where to go down there. Since your just planning on panning maybe look into a national forest (I beleive most allow panning and sluicing but always research!!) do some research on the Carolina Slate belt and historic placer/lode mines on that belt and go from there.
