VIDEO Brad Paisley performs Honey Boo Boo theme song on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Brad Paisley Honey Boo Boo theme song music video

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Alana Thompson is nothing short of an inspiration! We’ve had a comic book, the Redneckipedia, an American Country Awards skit with Tim McGraw and Kristin Chenoweth, original artwork made completely of trash, and even a South Park episode. The latest addition to the Honey Boo Boeuvre is courtesy of 14-time Country Music Award winning singer/songwriter Brad Paisley, who unveiled his rendition of a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo theme song during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night:

And here are the Brad Paisley Here Comes Honey Boo Boo theme song lyrics for those of you wanting to sing along at home or perhaps practice up for your your next karaoke outing:

In the hills of Georgia, in a modest home
Lives a sugared-up beauty queen garden gnome
Here comes Honey Boo Boo — haw!

She’ll sing a song, whistle a tune
Eat ketchup ‘sketti with her Mama June
Here comes Honey Boo Boo — yee haw!

She’s roaming the country, she’s on the loose
Filled with balls of cheese and go-go juice
Here comes Honey Boo Boo — haw!

Brad Paisley Here Comes Honey Boo Boo theme song from Jimmy Kimmel Live

She’s fighting for justice and the American way
From the mountain tops she screams,
‘Everybody’s a little gay’ – That’s right!

An American hero down to the core
She eats her meals right off the floor
Here comes Honey Boo Boo (whip crack)

This is the Ballad of Honey Boooo Booooooooooo

In honor of his honoring Alana in song I hopped over to the “Honey Boo Boo Nickname Generator” app on Facebook and plugged in Brad Paisley to see what his HBB nickname would be. The answer? Booty Boo Piglet! Pretty awesome huh? Although I think I like Brad Glitzy better.

Kate Middleton’s first official royal portrait revealed

First official royal portrait for Kate Middleton

Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and Prince William took a royal stroll down to the National Portrait Gallery in London today for the unveiling of her first official portrait.

It was the task of noted artist Paul Emsley to secure the likeness of Kate. The image features Emsley’s trademark black background with a slightly smiling Middleton framed by her long hair.

Emsley wanted to capture Kate’s natural beauty and initially intended on the work not having a smile. After meeting Middleton, he changed his mind stating, “I think it was the right choice in the end to have her smiling. That’s really who she is, I think.”

In this modern age there’s constant analysis and complaints about photographic enhancement via Photoshop etc. Well, the same happens even for royalty being painted for posterity. Emsley took the liberty of actually changing Kate’s eye color slightly to better match her blouse.

The currently pregnant Duchess said she thought the work, “was brilliant.” Prince William added, “It’s absolutely beautiful.”

What do you think of Kate’s first official portrait?

UPDATE - Find out what the portrait (which has been receiving lots of negative comments) would look like if notorious novice Jesus fresco restoration artist Cecilia Giménez were allowed to fix it up!

'Star Wars' May Also Be Heading to Television

Lucasfilm

With George Lucas out of Lucasfilm, a number of big changes have already happened. They’re developing ‘Star Wars Episode 7,’ and it looks like a long promised spin-off may be coming out of the mothballs. No, not another Ewok adventure, but the long rumored live-action ‘Star Wars‘ television show.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, ABC’s entertainment president Paul Lee said that though “We haven’t even sat down with them” that “We’re going to look at [the live-action series], we’re going to look at all of them, and see what’s right. We weren’t able to discuss this with them until [the acquisition] closed and it just closed. It’s definitely going to be part of the conversation.”

As most ‘Star Wars’ fans know, there has long been talk of a television spin-off, but with the special effects required it was considered too cost prohibitive. As Disney now controls the property and owns ABC, it makes the possibility of this going forward all the more likely. And, as Lee mentions, there’s already a number of scripts that are finished.

Our guess is they wait to see how ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ does first, as that is also taking one of the biggest franchises in cinema and doing it on a much smaller scale (for a much smaller screen). If audiences are on board with that, it very likely we could see Jedi adventures every Sunday at 8pm.
